Role:
Design Lead (Experimentation)
Proposed experiment based on user research and funnel metrics. Created experiment plan, tracking metrics, and next steps.

Problem / Opportunity:
Only a fraction of potential customers were selecting to sign in on our landing page.

Hypothesis:
Game tiles don’t do a great job at selling what gameplay experiences customers can expect.

Prediction:
Showcasing catalog diversity, immersion, and engaging visuals will increase rates of sign in or sign up.

Impact:
- Learned that more engaging visuals, showcasing catalog diversity and immersion didn’t move the needle towards sign in rates.
- Result: Continued with roll out the experiment to all users as it rolled up to a longer term vision of the app’s welcome experiences.

Collaborators:
Research, Data, Design, PM teams.
